Editing
A great deal of editing has been completed so far. After having captured my footage, I have erased all of the bloopers and placed all the sequences in order. My film is now beginning to resemble what I had planned to produce.

Footage Complete
On Thursday 7th of April I completed filming for my single camera drama. As this was filmed in the sixth week of the project and I had originally planned to have all of my footage by week five, I have fallen a week behind schedule. However, I have spent a lot of this time collecting research on film, DVD production and movie posters as well as completing folder work.

Film Production
It has been several weeks since I last updated my blog and my production has gradually developed. There has been considerable effort with research into Editing, Sound and Lighting techniques. I have looked at how Direction and Editing has been influenced through directors such as Alfred Hitchcock and Sergei Eisenstein. I have also discussed how sound can be used to not only create tension within film, but character. For lighting, I have wrote a brief history of its introduction to cinema. This has included the development of studio lighting both before and after the development of colour Television, which in turn played a major role in the success of film production. Since my last post I have also completed my script and shot list, as part of pre-production for my Single Camera Drama. With six scenes and three characters overall, the script acts as a guide with which I can structure my film. The majority has been filmed, and more is scheduled to be filmed later this week so editing can start and further research can be gathered.
